Previous studies have found that Bacillus velezensis JYC 520 can inhibit the growth of Streptomyces spp, but its mechanism is still unclear. In order to analyze the genetic information of strain JYC 520, a combination of Illumina Hiseq second-generation sequencing and PacBio RSII third-generation sequencing technology was used to sequence the entire genome of strain JYC 520,and the sequencing data was assembled to deeply explore its biocontrol potential and secondary metabolite gene resources. At the genomic level, it explores the biocontrol mechanism and potential probiotic mechanism against potato common scab disease, providing a bioinformatics foundation for the efficient development and application of strain JYC 520.
