Transcriptome analysis of a small fruit mutant of Japanese persimmon. Diospyros kaki strain:Totsutanenashi and Hiratanenashi

Japanese persimmon cv. Totsutanenashi (TTN) is a spontaneous mutant derived from cv. Hiratanenashi (HTN) and bear smaller fruits. To elucidate the molecular mechanism of this small fruit phenotype, we conducted a large scale transcriptome analysis using illumine GAIIx sequencing to find the differences in gene expressions between TTN and HTN fruits.
