Complete chloroplast genome of Solanum viarum Dunal (Solanaceae)

Solanum viarum Dunal is a perennial herbs or subshurubs plant, belongs to the family Solanaceae. It is an invasive alien plant (IAP) that has been naturalized in Korea, forming a sustainable population and growing naturally with native plants for over 10 years (NP), but its complete chloroplast genome sequence has not yet been revealed. In this study, we determined the complete chloroplast genome sequence of Solanum viarum Dunal. The genome of S. viarum is 156,209 bp in total length [large single copy (LSC) 86,877 bp; small single copy (SSC) 18,494 bp; IRs 25,419 bp each] with 37.8% GC content.
