Extreme Snowfall Dataset for the Northern Hemisphere (including the Belt and Road regions) spanning 2000–2021. Derived from the monthly reanalysis meteorological data of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) ERA5, this dataset calculates and analyzes regions across the Northern Hemisphere continents where the monthly land snow cover area percentage exceeds the 90th percentile of historical observational values, as well as the corresponding differences between the observed values and the 90th percentile thresholds.
