ABSTRACT The aim of the study is to analyze the trajectory of trainee students during the formative actions in the supervised curricular stage of a Licentiate Physical Education major. There were 22 students duly enrolled in the discipline of supervised curricular internship III, IV and V. A questionnaire composed of open questions was used to collect the information. Data were analyzed by the content analysis technique. The results consider three analysis axes: 1) prior experiences to the internship; 2) integration in the school context; 3) the initial formation experiences. It is concluded that with the students insertion in the teaching field during the initial formation, it allows them to involve in experiences and to create expectations of their future profession, constituting the knowledge and the different looks for the school environment, which are consolidated during the professional identity formation of teachers.
