Outstanding derivatives liabilities held by UK banks 2011-2020

As of the fourth quarter of 2020, banks resident in the United Kingdom held derivatives liabilities of around 3.13 trillion British pounds. While this level is consistent with average since 2011, it is lower than the values to be found in early 2020, and the peak of 5.71 trillion pounds recorded in the third quarter of 2011.
