Data and outputs of Vértes biodiversity project (Project number: FKZ 3723430001)

Biodiversity data (birds, Butterflies/burnet moths, grasshoppers and vascular plants) recorded within dry and semi-dry calcareous grasslands in the Vértes Hills (Hungary). Data sampling took place on 40 study plots (41 in the case of birds) using standardised methods as part of the project "Nachhaltige Naturschutzstrategien für den Erhalt der Biodiversität der Kulturlandschaft des Vértes-Gebirges (Ungarn)", Project number: FKZ 3723430001. Futhermore, the database includes project outputs (e.g. recommendations for habitat management and a project booklet). This project was funded by the German Federal Environment Ministry’s Advisory Assistance Programme (AAP) for environmental protection inthe countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia and other countries neighbouring the European Union.
