资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Michel Frankignoulle during the Belgica 9815D research cruise in the Bay of Biscay, North-East Atlantic as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 10th July 1998 and ended on 14th July 1998 with a spatial coverage of +48N latitude and -7W longitude.
The data consists of:
-13 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column, computed from pH and alkalinity; and
-13 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase), computed from pH and alkalinity.
See below for further details.
