Whole-Genome Bisulfite Sequencing analysis of perirenal fat of Assaf suckling lambs

The intergenerational effect of maternal protein restriction over methylation marks is poorly studied in livestock species. The high cost of feeding in animal management, volatility of the market prices, and availability of feed components result in constant pressure for adaptations in animal nutrition. Here, the intergenerational effect of maternal protein restriction over methylation patterns was evaluated in the perirenal fat of Assaf suckling lambs.
