VPRS 6969 Registers of Progress Payments Under the Mining Development Act

This series comprises volumes, known as 'books' that record progress payments made under the Mining Development Act. Loan Files under the Mining Development Act are available in VPRS 6962. Each volume records payments made to companies for the financial years 1896/1897 - 1932/1933. A page is devoted to every company with each financial year payments were made. Entries show the name of company, it's location, the amount allocated, dates of payment, specific payment details, balance and result.  Each volume in this series was identified by a sequential number referred to as a book number. An internal index inside the front cover is use to identify companies within it.  This series was originally identified and documented by a service provider. An evaluation of the supplied documentation in 2025 resulted in amendments to the listing of items and minor changes to this series description.
