Effect of zero-valent iron-coupled biochar on the composition of autotrophic microflora in bioreactors for remediation of uranium-contaminated groundwater

Through column studies using bioreactors that simulated PRBs, the remediation effects of zero-valent iron-coupled straw and multiple types of biochar on uranium-contaminated groundwater were studied. Macrogenomes were used to analyze the structural and functional genetic changes of autotrophic microflora in different zero-valent iron-coupled biochar bioreactors used for uranium-contaminated groundwater remediation.
