资源简介:

This dataset and code archive supports the revised manuscript entitled "A Stochastic Energy–Reliability Framework for IoT PHY Selection: An Overhead-Aware Design Criterion for Coded and Uncoded Wireless Systems." Version 2 supersedes the processed energy results of Version 1. During revision of the associated manuscript (IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IoT-64446-2026), an audit of the raw current traces identified a unit-conversion error (ampere-seconds misread as ampere-hours) introduced at the spreadsheet stage of the original analysis, which inflated the reported per-packet energies and inverted the reported PHY ranking. The raw measurements were unaffected. The included NOTICE file documents the correction; every processed value in this version is obtained by direct numerical integration of the raw traces. This version is fully self-contained; nothing from Version 1 is needed. It contains: (1) Raw data: the six unmodified Nordic Power Profiler Kit II (PPK2) current traces of the energy campaign (100 kS/s, GPIO-marked transmit and receive windows) and the 33 per-distance serial packet logs of the reliability campaign under LoS and NLoS conditions. (2) Derived data: packet error rates with Wilson 95% confidence intervals, RSSI logs and link asymmetry, log-distance path-loss fits, per-packet and per-delivered-byte transmit energies with Monte Carlo uncertainty propagation, and receive-side listen energies. (3) Code: the corrected energy pipeline (trapezoidal integration over the GPIO-delimited windows), the reliability pipeline, the Monte Carlo model of the manuscript's stochastic energy–reliability framework (regenerates all model-based figures), independent cross-check integrators, and a single-command driver (./code/run_all.sh) that regenerates every number and figure in the manuscript from the raw data in this record. (4) Firmware: the ESP-IDF source code for the initiator and responder roles of each PHY configuration. The experiments were conducted on ESP32-C6/H2 platforms for three PHY configurations: IEEE 802.15.4, BLE 5.0 1M PHY, and BLE 5.0 Coded PHY S=8. A README file and a data dictionary describe the file structure, variable definitions, units, and experimental conditions.
