This dataset provides monthly mean precipitation and air temperature data from 117 meteorological stations across the North China Plain during the period 1980–2010. It can be used to infer temporal variations of recharge and discharge at the upper boundary of the North China Plain, and is applicable to disciplines including environmental science, groundwater science, meteorology and other related fields.
