ITS amplicon sequencing data of patients with COVID-19. Fungi of patients with COVID-19

We conducted a study analyzing the ITS amplicon sequencing data of patients with COVID-19 in an ICU setting. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and fecal samples were collected from the patients at three time points: 1 day, 7 days, and 14-28 days post-enrollment. This longitudinal approach allowed us to examine the microbial communities in the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts over time, providing insights into the dynamic changes and potential impacts of microbial shifts on COVID-19 progression and patient outcomes.
