WRF-downscaling of CMIP5/CCSM4 simulations for Jarvis Creek, Alaska, 1970-2100

In order to assess future climate changes and impacts on Jarvis Creek's hydrological processes in Alaska, the CMIP5-CCSM4 hindcast simulations (1970-2005) and future projections (2006-2100) under the RCP6 mitigation scenario have been downscaled with the atmospheric regional model WRF (Weather Forecasting and Research). The downscaled results of 2-m temperature, relative humidity, 10-m wind speed, download shortwave radiation and precipitation were evaluated with the in-situ observations for the study area, which provides a measure to correct systemic bias in the WRF downscaling. This dataset includes the bias-corrected downscaling of 2-m temperature, relative humidity, 10-m wind speed, download shortwave radiation and precipitation for the Jarvis Creek, AK, and covers a period of 1970-2100. The data resolution is 20 km and hourly interval.
