The EXAEDRE L2b SAETTA-Meteorage dataset consists in the merging of L2 SAETTA data and Meteorage Stroke/Pulse data collected during the EXAEDRE Enhanced Observation Period (EOP) from 01 June 2018 to 31 October 2018.
The netcdf EXAEDRE L2b SAETTA-Meteorage data files are stored per 10 min period in daily directory. Each netcdf file has been compressed with bzip2 tool.
Basically, the EXAEDRE L2b SAETTA-Meteorage dataset contains the L2 SAETTA dataset stored in an array and the Meteorage stroke/pulse dataset in a second array. Meteorage strokes and pulses are paired to SAETTA flash sources based on time and space criteria. The values of the criteria are stored in the netcdf. Description of the pairing methodology is given in Houel et al., ESS, 202x (doi: ).
