Determinants of Agricultural Technology Adoption Intensity among Rice Farmers in Coastal Bangladesh

This dataset contains household survey data from 840 rice farmers in south-western coastal Bangladesh. It forms part of the PhD research in Agricultural Economics conducted at the Economics Discipline, Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh. The data include detailed information across five key thematic areas: household and demographic variables, farm and production system characteristics, institutional and access variables, economic characteristics of rice farmers, improved agricultural technologies adopted by farmers (e.g., high-yielding and stress-tolerant rice varieties, mechanization, integrated pest management, and other climate-smart practices). The adoption intensity of agricultural technologies is the main outcome variable, measured as the count or score of technologies adopted per farm. All analyses were conducted using STATA version 19.5. This dataset has been fully anonymized. No personally identifiable information (e.g., names, addresses, GPS coordinates, phone numbers, or household IDs linked to real identities) is included.
