This manuscript offers a pioneering philosophical and bibliometric inquiry into the temporality of education through Hartmut Rosa’s framework of social acceleration, alienation, and resonance. By systematically analyzing 765 Web of Science-indexed publications from 2015 to 2025 via social network analysis, the study uncovers dominant trends in educational discourse on time while highlighting a critical gap: the underexplored potential of resonance as a counter to acceleration-induced alienation in pedagogical practices. The findings advocate for a paradigmatic reconceptualization of time in education, shifting from linear, efficiency-driven chronos toward qualitative, responsive kairos to foster transformative learning.
