Full description of instances for the Multi-Stage Two-Dimensional Cutting Stock Problem with Usable Leftovers and Uncertainty in Demand.
Sixteen classes of instances were defined with 'S' = 2 types of standard plates and varying the number of types of leftovers in stock ('R' = 1 and 2). The number of types of items varied with 'I' = 3, 5, 8, and 10, and their dimensions were generated according to the dimensions of the plates and leftovers in stock.
Six scenario trees were used to represent the demand for items in the multi-stage approach. Each tree is identified according to the format 'T'/'B'/'Ξ', where 'T' is the number of stages, 'B' is the number of branches, and 'Ξ' is the number of scenarios.
For each pair class/tree, 10 instances were generated.
