dataset on personal variables and misuse of non orthodox psychoactive substances

This dataset was for a study which adopted the survey research design to investigate the influence of personal variables on misuse of non-orthodox psychoactive substances amongst secondary school students in Calabar South Local Government Area, Cross River state, Nigeria. The study was guided by three research questions and three hypotheses. A sample of 700 students was drawn from a population of 10,560 senior secondary school students in the study area. Researchers-designed instrument titled Misuse of Non-orthodox Psychoactive Substances Questionnaire (MNPSQ) was used for data collection. The MNPSQ was validated by an Educational Psychologist, a Measurement and Evaluation expert, and a Guidance Counsellor. The data generated from the instrument is hereby presented.
