资源简介:
Rotenone is a neurotoxin that induces a murine PD model with pathological changes and symptomatic manifestations similar to human PD and is therefore widely used. Rotenone can induce the abnormal activation and aggregation of a-synuclein in the intestine, which in turn causes damage to the enteric nervous system and affects the normal function of the intestine However, it remains unclear whether the gut microbiota and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway play an important role in rotenone induced constipation symptoms in PD. To this end, this study successfully established a mouse model of PD with constipation induced by low dose rotenone, and on this basis, the underlying mechanism of PD constipation symptoms was explored from multiple perspectives of intestinal microbiota, intestinal barrier, intestinal inflammation and PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.
