Number of 3D cinema screens in Norway 2011-2023

Since 2019, the number of 3D cinema screens in Norway decreased, after it steadily grew in the past. As of 2023, there were 263 3D screens in Norwegian movie theaters, down from more than 292 in 2018 and a low point that has not been reached for roughly a decade. This development over the past ten years has been accompanied by cinema admissions and revenues for 3D movies equally in decline.
