Study of Quasars which are bright in Soft X-Rays

GTWe propose to observe a sample of quasars, characterized by low galactic column density and high count rates in the ROSAT All Sky Survey. Given the ROSAT specification the sources of the proposed sample show a very strong emission in the soft Xray region (e.g. a soft excess). The proposed observations will allow to determine the spectral features of the soft excess with high spectral resolution.
