资源简介:
Lausannevirus was co-cultured for one year (144 passages) in its host A. castellanii in presence and absence of the bacteria E. lausannensis.Allopatric co-culture were performed in duplicate (La01 and La02). Sympatric co-cultures were split each 3 months in order to obtain 8 different subculture (A12-H12) at the end of the year. For sympatric co-cultures only the genomes for which a good assembly was obtained were released (C12, E12, F12, H12).Both allopatric co-cultures shows a 3.7% reduction of Lausannevirus genome. The same deletion was only partially observed in the sympatric subculture E12. All subcultures show a small mutation number, however several mutations occurred in Lausannevirus endonuclease encoding gene, emphasizing the importance of this gene product in the virus replication.
