Experimental Data for "The Impact of Textual Descriptions on Taxonomy Expansion with Large Language Models"

This repository provides the experimental data associated with the paper "The Impact of Textual Descriptions on Taxonomy Expansion with Large Language Models".

It contains six JSON files used for evaluation, each containing 100 concepts selected from English taxonomies (EuroVoc, Thesaurus for Economics, the UNESCO Thesaurus, and DBpedia Ontology) and Dutch taxonomies (EuroVoc and the WWII Thesaurus).Additionally, the repository includes the complete taxonomies in Turtle format, categorized by language (files are suffixed with _EN for English and _NL for Dutch). These are provided in two different versions: six original source copies and six augmented copies, which include definitions generated according to the methodology described in the paper. This collection enables the replication of the study’s results.
