资源简介:
This database contains the raw data collected in the manuscript Florian Denk, Dirk Oetting, Matthias Latzel, Harald Bonsel and Hendrik Husstedt, "Prevalence of excess binaural broadband loudness sensitivity in the hearing-impaired population and implications for hearing aid gain targets" that is currently under review. A preprint is available at https://www.doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14288584 Please cite this publication when you utilize the data. The data contains audiometric data, loudness scaling results with simulated amplification, and prescriptive hearing aid gain targets according to three prescriptive procedures (NAL-NL2, DSLm[i/o], trueLOUDNESS) for 180 hearing-impaired participants. Additionally, reference loudness functions obtained with the same hardware in 20 normal-hearing participants is provided. For more methodical details see the publication. Data is supplied as tables and structs in a .mat file format for use in Matlab or Octave. Please note that some meta data is given in German as originally obtained. Results for each participants are stored in one row, columns denote the data type:   T_pub: Table containing results of the hearing-impaired participants, with fields     measdate: Date of measurement    s_sex: Stated sex of participant (w - female, m - male, d - other)    age: age in years    s_ha: Hearing aid use at time of experiment (binaural, monaural, keine - none)    ha_coupling: Type of user hearing aid coupling if applicable    ha_experience: Previous hearing aid experience in years    usercl: participant class as denoted in paper (new, experienced, experimenter)    site: anonymous site of measurement                       s_AirCondHP: Utilized headphone for air conduction audiometry    s_BoneCondHP: Utilized headphone for bone conduction audiometry    US_MS_L: Uncomfortable Loudness Level (UCL) for speech material, left ear    US_MS_R: UCL for speech material, right ear    US_MS_B: UCL for speech material, diotic    tl_scale: Rating scale for categorical loudness scaling measurement (description in German)    comment: General comment on participant    IHS_v_scores: Score for IHS question (vector of 25 number, for each IHS item)    IHS_total: Total score of IHS questionnaire    IHS_iscomplete: Flag whether IHS questionnaire is complete (1, 0)    IHS_s_res: String indicating IHS result, according to Greenberg&Carlos 2018    TA_vfLL_L: Frequency vector of air conduction audiometry, left    TA_vfLL_R: Frequency vector of air conduction audiometry, right    TA_vfKL_L: Frequency vector of bone conduction audiometry, left    TA_vfKL_R: Frequency vector of bone conduction audiometry, right    TA_vfUS_L: Frequency vector of UCL, left    TA_vfUS_R: Frequency vector of UCL, right    TA_LL_Li: Air conduction thresholds, left    TA_LL_Re: Air conduction thresholds, right    TA_KL_Li: Bone conduction thresholds, left    TA_KL_Re: Bone conduction thresholds, right    TA_US_Li: UCLs, left    TA_US_Re: UCLs, right        PTA_L: PTA of air conduction thresholds (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz), left    PTA_R: PTA of air conduction thresholds (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz), right    PTA_B: PTA of air conduction thresholds (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz), bilateral    PTA_diff: difference of PTA of air conduction thresholds between sides (absolute)    HL_Class_L: Hearing loss profile according to IEC60118-15, matched based on RMS criterion, left ear    HL_Class_R: Hearing loss profile according to IEC60118-15, matched based on RMS criterion, right ear    HL_Class_B: Hearing loss profile according to IEC60118-15, matched based on RMS criterion, bilateral    AB_gap_PTA_L: PTA of air-bone gap, left ear    AB_gap_PTA_R: PTA of air-bone gap, right ear     tL_UEN5_Trials_Level: Presentation levels of trials in UEN5 loudness function measurement    tL_UEN5_Trials_CU: Rated CU of trials in UEN5 loudness function measurement    tL_UEN5_Koeffs: Coefficients of UEN5 loudness function according to Brand&Hohmann (2002)    tL_UEN5_LoudFunc_SPL: Level values of UEN5 loudness function     tL_UEN5_LoudFunc_CU: CU values of UEN5 loudness function        appropriate data is available also for UEN17 and IfNoise stimuli, replacing "UEN5" in variable name     tL_IfNoise_offs40CU: Level offset of IfNoise loudness function re normal-haaring reference at 40 CU (ΔL40)        appropriate data is available also for UEN17 and UEN5, replacing "IfNoise" in variable name     tLGains_vF: Frequency vector for trueLOUDNESS target insertion gains    tLGains_G50Li: trueLOUDNESS target insertion gains for left ear and 50 dB broandband input         appropriate insertion gains are also provided for 65 and 80 dB input as well as right ear ("Re")       nalnl2Gain_vF: Frequency vector of NAL-NL2 target insertion gains    {'nalnl2Gain_G50Li: NAL-NL2 target insertion gains for left ear and 50 dB broandband input         appropriate insertion gains are also provided for 65 and 80 dB input as well as right ear ("Re")       DSLGain_vF: Frequency vector of DSLm[i/o]  target insertion gains    {'DSLGain_G50Li: DSLm[i/o] target insertion gains for left ear and 50 dB broandband input         appropriate insertion gains are also provided for 65 and 80 dB input as well as right ear ("Re")   T_pubNH: Table containing results of the normal-hearing participants, with reduced set of fields compared to T_pub S_Reffunc: Reference loudness function derived from the normal-hearing results by taking the median at each CU and fitting a new loudness function.Data are provided for all three stimuli (UEN5, UEN17, IFnoise) as parameters (as defined by Brand&Hohmann (2002), see entry _Param), and sampled to a fine grid of SPL and appropriat CU values)
