Expression analysis of photosynthesis related genes in albino Artocarpus heterophyllus seedlings

In the previous investigation, we found that albino jackfruit seedlings (albino Artocarpus heterophyllus seedlings, AAS) were selected to study their photosynthesis background. AAS was selected as the research material and normal seedlings as control check (CK). The leaf structure, photosynthetic physiology and transcriptome analysis were observed and measured. The results showed that the length, width, area, thickness and photosynthetic pigment content of AAS leaves were less than those of CK; the leaves were not sensitive to par (photosynthetically active radiation); the gene expression of HEMA, PDS, ZDS and other key enzymes in the synthesis of photosynthetic pigment were significantly down regulated; photosynthesis antenna protein (photosynthesisis antenna) was significantly lower than that of CK Except for lhcb1 and lhcb7, the expression of other genes in Lhca and lhcb multi gene family was down regulated in proteins pathway, and it was involved in photosystem I (photosystem I), photosystem II (photosystem II), cytochrome b6 / f complex (cyt B6 / f complex) and adenosine triphosphate (adenosine triphosphate) In addition, TPI, FBP, PRK and other genes in carbon fixation reaction pathway were also down regulated. This experiment can provide materials for the study of photosynthesis of woody plants.
