In this study, the recombinant strain with the highest UDP_x0002_rhamnose supply was reconstructed by comparing UDPglucose biosynthesis pathways, enhancing the UTP biosynthesis pathway, and overexpressing NADPH regenerator. The efficient synthesis pathway described in this study for UDPrhamnose biosynthesis could be widely used for rhamnosylation flavonoids in E. coli.
