publicly available sequencing datasets were screened, sorted and grouped by envirnoment and potential presence of novel chloroflexota. Datasets of similar environemnts were coassembled to allow co-variance based binning approaches, and high as well as medium-quality bins were extracted. Genomes were clustered on species level togetehr with all currently available Chloroflexota genomes (Isolates, MAGs and SAGs), and novel MAGs that were found to be more representative for a given cluster than existing MAGs or SAGs were selected
