Automated weather station including a shielded air temperature sensor/logger and a tipping bucket rainfall gauge and data logger were used. Measurements were taken at 10 minute or 1 hour intervals. Variables measured: Air temperature (degrees Celsius), Precipitation (mm), Incoming Shortwave Radiation (Kin; W/m2), Relative Humidity (%), Wind Speed (km/h), Wind Direction (mV), Soil Temperature 10 cm (degrees Celsius), Soil Temperature 20 cm (degrees Celsius), Soil Temperature 50 cm (degrees Celsius), Net Radiation (W/m2), Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR; umol/cm2/s).
