Euprymna scolopes acessory nidamental gland metagenome and metatranscriptome

Metagenomic sequencing of the accessory nidamental gland (ANG) of female Hawaiian bobtail squid, Euprymna scolopes, with the goal of binning metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) of currently uncultured symbiotic bacteria. E. scolopes ANG and egg metatranscriptomes were sequenced to examine gene expression of the bacterial community and host. The genomes of cultured ANG and egg bacterial isolates were also sequenced to include as additional references.
