Excel file containing CPR data for area 40N to 70N, -70W to 20E, 1968 to 2018, sample level data (each sample being 1 row, equating to approx. 10 nautical miles of tow, 3m3 of filtered seawater), for Phytoplankton Colour Index (PCI), total diatoms, total dinoflagellates, total large (over 2mm) copepods and total small (under 2mm) copepods. For each group (except PCI), values indicate abundance (according to standard CPR methodology, see Richardson et al. 2006, Prog in Oceanog 68. 27-74), zero values are absence of taxon. The excel file consists of samples in rows, with the following information in columns - A: sample id B:midpoint of sample latitude in decimal degrees C:midpoint of sample longitude in decimal degrees D:midpoint of sample local date and time E:sample year F: sample month G: Phytoplankton Colour Index H-K: selected groups
