This repository shares the dataset collected from from different open data archives to deliver a research task on, "Section 3. Assessment of the use of surface and groundwater for irrigation" in the research project deliverable, "D 3.1. Assessment of Use of Remotely Sensed Vegetation data for Improved Irrigation". Drainage Control and Management. - Section 2.4. Drainage Systems." in the research project deliverable, "D3.2. Assessment of Water Retention Methods." Sections in the document provide details about; 1) a case study field in Finalnd selected to carry out proposed research work; 2) implemented methods to process the collected ground-weather station-based hydrometeorological datasets, RS based vegetation datasets obtained using Google Earth Engine (GEE) Platform in 2021; 4) Results and discussion about the utilization of surface and groundwater resources for irrigation and their management by adequate drainage in the specified agricultural case study field. Note: The version of GEE script that was implemented to collect the RS dataset in 2021 is uploaded in case of further reference. Any later updates required in the script after are not included.
