A study of genetic high altitude adaptations in Tibetan populations employed these sequence data of 18 Sherpa and 35 Tibetans to augment publicly available reference panels for genotype imputation. Three Sherpa trios and four Tibetan mother-daughter duos were sequenced to high coverage (~20x). The remaining 36 samples were genetically unrelated and sequenced to low coverage (~5x). Samples with no signature of recent admixture were chosen for sequencing.
