My work 'Workshop of filthy creation' was a solo show at KINGS ARI. The show saw a major new body of work on the abject human body and bodily organs fused with technology and electrical motors. The work was selected by a group of peers on the board of KINGS. My work resulted in new kinds of knowledge being produced - associated with the area of kinetic based electronic art, by presenting work that explored the aesthetic of the abject body with the technological. The research in the work is original and unique and extends ways in which we can consider the human body and its relationship to the media ladscape and new and emerging technologies.A gallery text was produced for the work by witer Darren Tofts.
