Evolution of the antibiotic resistance plasmid pB10 in Acinetobacter baumannii growing in biofilms or planktonic populations

The goals of the study were to determine the effect of biofilm growth on plasmid persistence in the absence of antibiotics, and on the evolutionary trajectories of this plasmid in the presence and absence of antibiotics.
