Untargeted Metabolomic profiling and biological activities of marasmioid fungi
收藏资源简介:
Basidiomycota fungi are a widespread group known for their nutritional value and bioactive compounds, although the Marasmiaceae family remains understudied. This study characterized the metabolic profiles and bioactivity of four marasmioid strains using untargeted metabolomics, detecting numerous spectrometric features. The extracts showed notable antibacterial activity, especially against Clavibacter michiganensis and Erwinia persicina, with strain FGR1289 being the most effective. Additionally, some strains exhibited strong antioxidant activity. Metabolic pathway analysis suggested involvement in organic acid and amino acid metabolism. Overall, these fungi represent a promising source of bioactive compounds with potential pharmaceutical and agricultural applications.
