We co-assembled 41 metagenomes from seawater samples from 0.22-3 um size fractions of 21 TARA Oceans stations, covering five different Arctic Ocean regions as well as the sub-Arctic North Atlantic Ocean, various depths and different seasons (spring to autumn).We pooled samples that were most similar in their community-level taxonomic composition (assessed with 16S miTags and NMDS with 100 iterations and stress value of 0.08)
