Genome wide association mapping for flowering and maturity time traits in linseed

In linseed, early maturity is desirable as it helps avoid several biotic and abiotic stress. Flowering initiation in short days is a prerequisite for plants to enter in reproductive stage to enable early maturity. In order to identify genomic regions associated with flowering, maturity time and important agro-morphological traits, a panel of 131 diverse germplasm accessions were evaluated. These 131 accessions were used for generating genome wide SNPs using Genotyping by Sequencing approach.
