The Studentbody of the University of Cologne in the Weimar Republic

The study deals with the history of the University of Cologne.
Information about Students and teaching staff of the University were collected.

The study is into two parts:
The first part covers the report period between 1919 and 1935, for which the information of the students were collected from the Complete Registration Register of Students at the University of Cologne.
The second part covers the period between 1919 and 1989 and deals with information about the amount of students and teaching staff at the University´s faculties. The data-type of Part 1 are individual data, while the data-type of Part 2 are time series.

Topics:

Part 1:
Complete registration register of students at the University of Cologne
with extensive information:
name, registration No., place of birth, religion, times of studies, occupation,
occupation of father, belonging to student organizations, etc.

Part 2:
Amount of students and structure of the teaching staff.
