Environmental radioactivity data from the REM data bank, referred to years 1984-2006. The Radioactivity Environmental Monitoring (REM) data bank was set-up in 1988 to bring together and store in a harmonised way environmental radioactivity data produced in the aftermath of the Chernobyl accident. The database contains a unique collection of environmental radioactivity measurements from a wide number of different sources, media and countries, mainly the 28 EU Member States.
