Barite production in Algeria 2010-2019

The production of barite in Algeria exceeded 31 thousand metric tons in 2019. This represented a decline compared to the previous year when the production reached 39.4 thousand metric tons. In the period under review, an extraction peak of over 40 thousand metric tons was registered in 2010.
