资源简介:
Wind-driven wildfires that penetrate urban environments are the leading
cause of structure loss due to wildfire in the Western United States, yet
the role of urban trees in such events remains unclear. In January 2025,
two severe wind-driven fires burned through neighborhoods of Altadena
(Eaton Fire) and Pacific Palisades, Southern California. This data was
used to examine what effect the spatial distribution of urban trees and
structures had on the probability of structure loss during these fires.

associated with this project. It is mainly spatial files (shapefiles and
GeoJSON) used to generate the inputs for statistical modeling. A csv of
model inputs is also included.
