Blastomeres of 8-cell mouse embryos differ in their ability to generate embryonic stem cells and produce lines with different transcriptional signatures.

The ability of sister blastomeres of 8-cell mouse embryos to produce ESC lines was measured, and the transcriptome of the Bm-mESCs lines generated was analyzed by RNA-seq. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for embryonic stem cells generated from single blastomeres (Bm-mESCs) of the same 8-cell mouse embryo. Three biological replicates: embryo 1 (5 Bm-mESC lines), embryo 2 (7 Bm-mESC lines), and embryo 3 (7 Bm-mESC lines). (19 Bm-mESCs lines in total).
