资源简介:
Atherosclerosis is initiated by passage of cholesterol-carrying oxidative-low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) into the impaired arterial wall. Macrophages take up modified lipoproteins such as oxLDL, contributing to storage of excess cholesteryl ester and foam cell formation. We investigated the signaling pathways for stimulating foam cell formation and explored the effects of macrophage-specific CD147 deficiency in foam cell formation. The fold-changes for each gene of bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) derived from macrophage-specific CD147 knockout with respect to wildtype mice in the absence or presence of ox-LDL were assessed by using three independent RNA-seq.
