Norway spruce temperature dependent transcriptome changes. Picea abies

The somatic embryogenic cultures were subjected to temperature treatments at either cold - 18°C or warm - 28°C in comparison to 23°C optimal embryogenesis conditions. Three developmental maturation stages were defined; early – E1, when the embryo began differentiation from callus tissue, at 10 weeks of sub-culture on AL media; intermediate – E2, at 2 weeks after the prior stage; and late – E3, which occurred 2 weeks after the second stage.
