Rhizobium pusense strain KSSKSLAB04 is a plasticizer-degrading bacterium isolated from soil samples polluted with plastic waste collected from Juhu Beach, Mumbai, India. The strain was sequenced using a hybrid long-read strategy combining PacBio Onso and Oxford Nanopore PromethION platforms to generate high-quality genomic data. Genomic DNA was extracted from the isolate and processed to prepare libraries for both Onso and Nanopore sequencing using standard protocols.
