183 rhizosphere soils at the temporal and spatial levels were collected from Panax notoginseng plants.The 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing was performed to detect the bacterial communities of P. notoginseng plants at the temporal and spatial levels. Deep shotgun metagenomic sequencing was performed to analyze the microbial community composition and function of P. notoginseng at the spatial levels.
