Dataset for: Ecosite-specific harmful algal bloom dynamics in Western Visayas, Philippines: Linking environmental variability, species composition, and algal toxicity

This repository contains the datasets used in the study examining the environmental drivers of harmful algal bloom (HAB) species in Philippine shellfish-growing areas. It includes (1) environmental observations (temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and pH) and (2) phytoplankton species occurrence data compiled from routine monitoring conducted by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
