This represents the first retrospective study of the genomic and phenotypic evolution of longitudinally collected B. multivorans. Aiming to understand the evolutionary adaptation of B. multivorans in the CF host environment and to identify genetic mutations possibly leading to phenotypic variation, we sequenced and analyzed the genomes of the 22 isolates.
